SWEM (SouthWest Ecumenical Ministries, Inc.) is a non-profit organization that provides emergency food to families in need. For more than forty years, SWEM has been committed to helping relieve hunger in southwest Rochester, Scotsville, Gates, and Chili. Through partnerships with Foodlink, SWEM is a host site for distributing fresh produce and baked goods on a monthly basis to approximately 200 households. You can find out more on their Facebook page:
